This Privacy Policy explains how AutoCortex AI ("we", "our", or "the app") collects, uses and protects your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: when you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from the provider you chose.
• Vehicle photos: images you submit for analysis.
• Problem descriptions: text or voice descriptions you provide about your vehicle.
• Vehicle profiles: brand, model and year information you optionally save.
• Analysis history: the diagnostic results generated for you.
• Purchase status: your subscription tier. Payments are processed entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To analyse vehicle photos and descriptions and generate AI-powered diagnostic reports.
• To maintain your account, history and saved vehicles.
• To enforce usage limits and manage subscriptions.
• To send optional maintenance reminders (only with your permission).

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following processors to operate the app:

• Google Gemini — analyses the photos and descriptions you submit to produce diagnostic results.
• Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
• Cloudinary — secure storage of submitted images.
• RevenueCat — subscription status management.
• Railway — backend server hosting.

These providers process data solely to deliver their function to us. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data (history, photos, vehicle profiles) at any time from Settings → Delete Account inside the app. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

5. Security

All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS. Access to stored data is restricted by row-level security so each user can only access their own records.

6. Children's Privacy

AutoCortex AI is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
